Finding reliable home-service help is fragmented. Customers bounce between referrals, DMs, and cash payments with no visibility into job status or payment protection. GHands needed a customer experience that felt trustworthy on first open and stayed clear through booking, payment, and completion.
Lead with location-aware discovery and a single-tap request path, then guide users through a linear booking funnel: category → job details → schedule → provider match. Wallet-first payments with escrow and a visible job timeline reduce anxiety at the highest-friction moments.
Built the customer app in Expo Router with a sage-branded design system, five-tab navigation, and TanStack Query for API state. Integrated Korapay wallet top-up, PIN-secured service payments, push notifications, in-app chat, and a step-based job timeline tied to backend status.
